Description:
We believe that children should have the time to enjoy being kids. We believe in imagination, sleeping under the stars, getting dirt under your nails, friendship, cooking over a campfire, having an Alice in Wonderland or Jurassic Park day, playing ball, community, molding clay, fishing, sliding down a waterslide, canoeing, caring for our camp farm animals and all the fun little details that make up an awesome childhood experience.
Established as Incarnation Camp in 1886, our historic and strong alumni support enable us to offer the best in summer camping at half the cost of comparable sleep away programs. Pequot and Sherwood campers choose the layout of their day from a roster of activities which include field and court sports, fine arts and crafting, performance arts, waterfront, canoe, sail, waterslide, etc, outdoor adventure and more. All campers receive swim and boating instruction every day in our mile long crystal clear private lake, which is the heart of our 740 wooded acre forested site.
Pioneer Village for teens, located across our lake is a 4, 6, or 8 week program where campers have the oppurtunity to explore beautiful New England on hike, bike, and canoe trips.
